Yes and No. You can’t possibly have your own recruiting business withoutknowing the fundamentals of recruiting. However, we don’t teach you how tostart and run your own business. You need to do that work on your own.
It can take a month, but it should not take longer than 3 months if you’refocused and using all the fundamentals taught in these courses. Another caveatwill be how long the current interview process from start to finish it takeswith the client you are working with.
YES of course! That’s what this course is for. I don’t sugar coat anything. That would be a waste of time for me and you.
It depends on you. You can take these courses and define and grow your ownpath. Or, we can place you with our trusted clients if that’s the best fit foryou. Regardless, getting trained in the fundamentals and all the traits neededin this industry will give you all the experience needed. Maybe that’s evenwith me :) . Our course can help you with your resume and prepare you to beready for what will be asked in the interviews.
Linkedin recruiter is VERY expensive and VERY worth it. If I were you, Iwouldn’t buy it yet. Wait to get all your ducks in a row and see where you endup. If it’s with a company they pay for it. If it’s on your own, there are alot of free options on Linkedin that are really robust. Indeed and other jobboards can be good to use for certain industries. I don’t love them for techpositions as most of the great engineers aren’t needing to post their resumes.
I would. You need a company name. You need people to know you’re legit.UNLESS, you want to just say you’re a freelance recruiter. That’s totally fine.
Absolutely! Freelancing is easier than ever with all the collaboration thatis going on in the recruiting business. There are recruiting agencies that havebuilt platforms that make it easy to split/share candidates.
No, but it helps. There are many options available for creating a website.Wix and Squarespace are the go-to for being easy for people to build websitesthemselves. Webflow is a step up from the “drag and drop” builder and 100%customizable. WordPress is a step up from that, if you are looking for morefeatures, since they have been around the longest.
Ha! I must tell you this question makes me laugh. In a good way. I know I’mcrazy for putting my secrets out there. When I was first a recruiter andworking for someone else. He never wanted me to even tell my colleagues what Iwas doing right. I never understood it. I’ve now been in the business for SOlong, I have realized there isn’t competition between recruiters. It’s reallybetween the tech giants that pay over market. I’m also SO tired of people notthinking of recruiting as a career. It is a career and should be respected likeone. People think you need to have a degree and work up a corporate ladder. Nottrue!
Blackboard is our learning management system and very easily handles allthis for you.
